Sorry, but Ardoch Bothy is not available for holidays in 2021. Instead, we are offering longer-term lets for at least 6 months. This will overcome the COVID 19 risks associated with weekly changeovers. If you would be interested in getting away for a long period, please get in touch.Ardoch Bothy is approached via its own winding track, and sits in an elevated position with an uninterrupted outlook across Loch Kishorn, to the Cuillin Mountains on the Isle of Skye and the Applecross hills. The sea shore is only a couple of minutes walk away.
A perfect romantic bolt-hole, or holiday accommodation for one or two people, this unique property has recently been converted. The spacious open-plan design incorporates bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with large windows to take full advantage of the outstanding views. Stone tiled bathroom, leading off the hall and utility room, to the rear.
Equipped to a high standard, and stylishly furnished, Ardoch Bothy is cosy all the year round with underfloor heating throughout and a Clearview wood-burning stove. Outside, guests can enjoy the situation and outlook from a wooden seat on the pretty stone terrace - accessed through a sliding glass door from the dining area.

Rates vary but, as a rough guide, a 3 night stay works out at just over two thirds of the weekly rate for the time of year. Flying to Inverness with (say) Easyjet, and hiring a car, makes this a very cost effective way of enjoying a long weekend amid glorious scenery and in a peaceful and tranquil environment.

Not looking forward to going home, as we will miss the fantastic views from the Bothy and round every corner. We have made sure we’ve left a few things to do for next time though…thank you for your hospitality, and for creating a little haven.” August
