Ardoch Bothy is approached via it's own winding track, and sits in an elevated position with an uninterrupted outlook across Loch Kishorn, to the Applecross hills and the Cuillin Mountains on the Isle of Skye. The sea shore is only a couple of minutes walk away.

Accommodation

A perfect romantic bolt-hole, or holiday accommodation for one or two people, this unique property has recently been converted.

The spacious open-plan design incorporates bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with large windows to take full advantage of the outstanding views. Stone tiled bathroom, leading off the hall and utility room, to the rear.

Equipped to a high standard, and stylishly furnished, Ardoch Bothy is cosy all the year round with underfloor heating throughout and a ClearView wood-burning stove.

Outside, guests can enjoy the situation and outlook from a wooden seat on the pretty stone terrace - accessed through a sliding glass door from the dining area.

Rent includes all electricity, central heating, bed linen, towels, local and national telephone calls to landlines - and an initial basket of logs.

Short Breaks

Ardoch Bothy is often available for Short Breaks of 3 nights (minimum), or longer. Rates vary but, as a rough guide, a 3 night stay works out at 66% of the weekly rate for the time of year. Flying to Inverness with (say) Easyjet, and hiring a car, makes this a very cost effective way of enjoying a long weekend amid glorious scenery and in a peaceful and tranquil environment.
