Gracie's Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage, situated on the shores of Loch Kishorn (sea loch), with magnificent views to the Applecross Hills and the famous Bealach-na-Ba (Pass of The Cattle). The building was completely restored to a very high standard in 2003, has central heating throughout, and offers the following accommodation for four people. |

A large sunny sitting room with wood burning stove, comfortable sofa and chairs, satellite TV, radio via TV, DVD player, iPod dock, free WiFi and telephone (all local and national calls to landlines free). Double doors leading to the front garden and the shore beyond. Stairs to the first floor.
A modern, well equipped kitchen, with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Dining table and chairs.
Both these rooms look directly onto the loch, and the Bealach-na-Ba beyond.
Separate utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, stainless steel sink, central heating boiler and clothes hanging area.

One double bedded room and one twin bedded room, both looking directly onto the loch.

Outside
Gracie's Cottage is situated virtually on the sea shore. The single track road, which runs between the cottage and the shore, is a cul de sac, leading only to the rest of the village. There is plenty of space inside and outside and the sea is safe for children, being very shallow in front of the cottage. Plenty of car parking space. Pleasant sunny garden in front, and another garden to the rear. There are numerous places to walk, without needing to get into a car. The good village shop and seafood cafe in Kishorn are within walking distance (approx. a mile)

Rent includes all electricity, central heating, bed linen, towels, local and national telephone calls to landlines - and an initial basket of logs.
Short Breaks
Gracie's Cottage is often available for Short Breaks of 3 nights (minimum), or longer. Rates vary but, as a rough guide, a 3 night stay works out at 66% of the weekly rate for the time of year. Flying to Inverness with (say) Easyjet, and hiring a car, makes this a very cost effective way of enjoying a long weekend amid glorious scenery and in a peaceful and tranquil environment.
